Hagar Vardimon runs a business called Happy Red Fish and has a unique approach to College.
Hagar grew up in Tel Aviv and from a young age was surrounded by hand-dyed wools that her mother used for weaving. This creativity was inspiring to her and lead her to apply to the Bezalel academy of Art in Jerusalem.
Ten years ago she switched from working with paint to sewing stitches and threads on to canvas much like ink or pen. This work has some relevance to my own . I have produced some similar landscape pictures using photography and block printing with stitches over laying the top, however my pictures were on paper not canvas
My Work
Nowadays she spends her time raising her two children and working in her studio space.
